Lakers: Draft Target Brandon Ingram Trolled New Yorkers Too Hard (Video)
Lakers draft target Brandon Ingram went incognito in Washington Square in New York City to mess with some unsuspecting citizens
Duke Blue Devils product Brandon Ingram is likely going to be the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and become the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers. Reports even surfaced on Wednesday—the day before the June 23 draft—that the Lakers were going to be taking Ingram unless something crazy were to happen.

Before he enters the NBA, though, he was in New York City messing with some unsuspecting fans.
Ingram took to Washington Square in New York to draw pictures of park goers passing by, punking New Yorker’s for DraftKings. The results were hilarious:
A few of the folks who sat down in front of 6-9 future Laker in Ingram (pending) to get their picture drawn. Ingram wasn’t about to draw just regular portraits, though. Instead, he took to drawing himself owning his subjects on the basketball court—unbeknownst to the subject of course.
Most of the young men who agreed to sit down for an original piece of art asked Ingram questions trying to figure out if he was Brandon Ingram the Duke basketball player, but he played dumb, claiming at times to not even know what the game of basketball was.
One fan even asked him if he was a (North Carolina) Tar Heels fan as a bit of a troll to the Duke product. He answers, “Tar Heels fan? I love the Tar Heels!” That’s an absolutely hilarious moment. The same fan also goaded him into confessing where he thought he was going to live.
Ingram eventually told his subjects who he is, and there were some very happy fans who will be framing and hanging the picture somewhere special. The others? Who knows—they looked pretty clueless.
