2. Larry Nance Jr.: Summer League’s Most Likable Player
Speaking of draft steals, sophomore power forward Larry Nance Jr. may very well be the most exciting player in the Las Vegas Summer League. Though he may not be putting up gaudy numbers, his constant effort and hustle have been the keys to the summer Lakers’ success.
Despite being down 15 points against the Sixers on Saturday, Nance’s versatility propelled the Lakers to come back and eventually paved the way for D’Angelo Russell to hit the game-winning shot.
Thanks to his hustle, defensive ability, and dunks like these, Nance has arguably been the most impactful Laker in Vegas not named Russell:
With the way the young forward has been playing, it is only right to consider him a member of the Lakers’ future and one that is endearing to fans in virtually every manner.
