Lakers: Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell All Enjoying Summer
By Eric Yee
The young Los Angeles Lakers recently hosted a premiere party for Matt Damon’s newest movie in the Bourne saga, Jason Bourne
Similar to the Fast and the Furious franchise, the creators of the Jason Bourne saga have done their best to cash in on the success of their movies. Most recently, Lakers’ up-and-coming stars, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell had the honor of hosting the latter’s premiere party.
All posting a picture promoting the event and pushing the movie on their respective Instagram accounts, it appears that the young Lakers are getting along swimmingly off the court and that is one of the most encouraging signs of the summer.

Prior to last season, after D’Angelo Russell’s video scandal involving teammate Nick Young, many speculated that the relationship between Russell and Randle was strained. Clarkson on the other hand played middle man throughout the whole ordeal, never taking a side or placing blame on either party.
However, these recent photos should clear any doubt that the three have problems getting along with each other. While players can become completely different while on the court, this off court connection should not be underestimated — just use what happened with Dwight Howard and James Harden for reference.
Last year, the trio put on a show for Lakers fans on multiple occasions during Kobe Bryant‘s farewell tour, but none more impressive than when they combined for 74 of the team’s 107 points against the Orlando Magic on March 8.
