Nick Young Participating in All-Star Three-Point Contest
By JC Ansis
The NBA’s three-point contest this year just got a whole lot swaggier.
Lakers guard Nick Young is one of the players competing in the shootout after the league announced the participants for the event on Thursday.
It will be Young’s first time participating in the annual tree-point contest. Young will be competing against defending champion Klay Thompson, as well as Kyle Lowry, Kyrie Irving, Wesley Matthews, Kemba Walker, C.J. McCollum and Eric Gordon.
Left off the list of participants is the other half of the Splash Brothers, Steph Curry. The reigning MVP won the three-point contest in 2015, before getting dethroned by Thompson last year.
