The Los Angeles Lakers preseason schedule was released last week, and tickets for some of the games go on sale today.
The Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of an exciting time. Rebuilding is not something the organization is used to doing, but things have gone well thus far. Los Angeles has a roster stocked with exciting young players.
The Lakers will be adding to that roster in a few weeks in the 2017 NBA Draft. The Lakers own the second and 28th picks in the draft. Those two picks will add to an impressive stable of young talent that is headlined by Brandon Ingram and D’Angelo Russell, No. 2 picks in the previous two drafts. Julius Randle was also selected within the top-10.
In addition to those players, the Lakers have done well later on in the draft as well. Jordan Clarkson and Ivica Zubac were second rounders. Larry Nance Jr. was selected near the end of the first round. At least two more players will be added to that core with the 2017 NBA Draft picks.

The first time that we will get to see those players in action will be during the Summer League. That will be the first time the recent draft picks and other youngsters will get to showcase their skills. Last week, the preseason schedule was released.
The first time we will see the draft selections in action in the purple and gold will be during training camp and in the preseason. The Lakers will have six tuneup games for the regular season, starting on September 30th against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
That will be followed up with two games against the Denver Nuggets. The first, one October 2nd at the Staples Center. The second, which will be played on October 4th, will be played in Ontario, California at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Los Angeles will then take a visit to Las Vegas to play against the Sacramento Kings at the T-Mobile Center. They will return to the Staples Center for two games to round out the preseason schedule. October 10th the Lakers will take on the Jazz before facing off with the Los Angeles Clippers on October 13th in what will be considered a road game.
Serena Winters shared the schedule and time of the games on her Twitter account last week.
Also mentioned in her tweet was a date for tickets to go on sale. The Lakers will be taking their show on the road to three different cities for ‘home’ games during the preseason. As her tweet says, today is the day that preseason tickets go on sale.
You can find tickets for the game against the Timberwolves at the Honda Center here. Tickets for that game, and the two other games that will be played away from the Staples Center, here.
