NBA 2K18 continues to release their ratings for players for the upcoming season. What grade did Los Angeles Lakers rookie Josh Hart receive?

In recent days we have started to find out the ratings in NBA 2K18 for some of the players of the Los Angeles Lakers.

One of the big takeaways from the ratings release was that Lonzo Ball was tied with Markelle Fultz for the highest rated rookie. Considering Fultz was the first overall pick, it was a bit surprising to see Ball tied with him.

However, after a strong Summer League performance, Ball certainly was deserving of the 80 grade that he received. In addition to Ball, we also know the rating of fellow rookie Kyle Kuzma. Like Ball, Kuzma was a star for the Lakers in the summer league.

With Ball out for the Championship game, it was Kuzma who led the way for the Lakers. Overall, Kuzma played very well in the tournament as well. However, he received a rating of a 72. While the 72 might seem a bit low for Kuzma, this is a solid rating for a player taken late in the first round.

For Josh Hart, he received a rating of a 70 from 2K. As you can see in his tweet below, Hart didn’t seem thrilled with that number.

Unfortunately for Hart, he was unable to prove himself in the Summer League. Despite many looking forward to seeing Hart, he was only able to play briefly in the tournament because of injury.

Next: 3 Things to know about Josh Hart

As the reigning Big East Player of the Year, Hart certainly is a very talented player. While the 70 might seem low, it isn’t strange to see this rating for rookie taken at the end of the first round. As a four-year player in college, Hart might have a chance to be a rotation player in his rookie season. With an ability to play defense and shoot the ball from beyond the arc, Hart will certainly be valuable for the Lakers even if his 2K rating doesn’t imply that.
