The Los Angeles Lakers revealed their new jerseys with the sponsorship patch.
The Los Angeles Lakers received a bit of a facelift this offseason. With the NBA changing their outfitter to Nike, every team in the NBA received new jersey kits for the upcoming season.
All the teams in the NBA will have four sets of jerseys to choose from on a nightly basis. There will no longer be home and away kits; instead, the home team will be selecting which jersey they want to wear, and then the away team will select a contrasting color.
Eight teams were selected to have a fifth classic jersey in addition to the four jersey kit. The Lakers were one of those teams selected to have a classic jersey.

In addition to the Lakers, the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Phoenix Suns will have a fifth classic uniform. Conrad Burry of SportsLogos.net shared some photos of what the Lakers and other classic jerseys could look like.
The NBA jerseys have been a topic of discussion all offseason. Some teams have received major revamps by Nike. The Lakers jerseys have remained pretty much the same, as the purple and gold have remained with some tweaks to the trimming.
However, there is one big change coming to some jerseys, including the Lakers. Some NBA teams will have sponsorship logos on a small patch on the upper right chest area. The Lakers will be one of the teams with that patch and revealed it in an awesome promo video.
The Lakers will have a partnership with Wish, a mobile shopping app.
Along with the announcement of their partnership, Wish shared a coupon for a code to take 20 percent off purchases on their Twitter account.

Logos that are not associated with the NBA will take some getting used to. However, the logos will be adjusted, it seems, to fit the teams color schemes. That will make it less of an eyesore, as the Wish logo on their Twitter account is blue and white.
However, it looks like it will have a backdrop the same color as the Lakers jersey with the logo being the same color as the logo across the chest of the jersey.

The Lakers have one of the more recognizable and classic jerseys in the NBA, so it is nice that the sponsorship logo will not be taking away much from it.
