The Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings will be facing off at the T-Mobile Arena on October 8th, 2017. Here is all the information you will need to watch the game.
The Los Angeles Lakers are taking their show on the road once again. This time, it will be to Las Vegas, where they will take on the Sacramento Kings at the T-Mobile Arena.
The Lakers have had a tough preseason thus far. They enter tonight’s game winless thus far, going 0-3, losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves and then the Denver Nuggets twice. The Kings come into the game with a record of 1-1, splitting their games against the San Antonio Spurs.
Los Angeles comes into the game with some injury concerns. Rookie point guard Lonzo Ball tweaked his ankle in the last game and is considered questionable for tonight. Small forward Brandon Ingram suffered a head contusion, but has been cleared to play; if he feels well he will suit up.
While Ball and Ingram are question marks, Sunday could mark the first time we see Brook Lopez take the court in a Lakers uniform. The Lakers acquired Lopez from the Brooklyn Nets prior to the 2017 NBA Draft in exchange for Timofey Mozgov and D’Angelo Russell. He has been dealing with a back ailment, but has been participating in practice and could take the court tonight.

Fans are hoping that Ball can play, as it will be the first time that he goes up against fellow 2017 NBA Draft pick, De’Aaron Fox. Ball was injured during the Lakers and Kings matchup in the Las Vegas Summer League, so fans did not get to see it in July.
The Kings, like the Lakers, are in the middle of a rebuild with plenty of young players they are looking to develop. As like the Lakers, the Kings have some veterans, such as Zach Randolph, George Hill and Vince Carter, we could see play some minutes tonight after sitting out the last game.
The Lakers and Kings had quite a rivalry in the early 2000’s. If the young players develop, it could once again be a budding rivalry. While this is only a preseason game, there is also a little extra incentive when the California teams match up.
Will it be the Lakers of the Kings coming out ahead this time? We will have to watch and see. Here is all the information you need to watch the Lakers and Kings play tonight in Las Vegas.
