The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns play tonight, October 20th, 2017, at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.
The Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing opening night. The Lakers were defeated handily by the Los Angeles Clippers, 108-92. The Lakers will now turn their focus to the Phoenix Suns, who they will play tonight at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The Lakers are definitely disappointing in their opening night, but it was not as bad as the Suns opening night. The Suns were throttled by the Portland Trail Blazers in their season opener, as they trailed by as many as 59 points, losing 124-76.
For the Lakers, it was a reality check for their young players. There is a ton of hype surrounding players such as Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram and both struggled against the Clippers.

Ball was hounded all night by Patrick Beverley, who made it his mission to take him out of the game thanks to his father, LaVar Ball. He is in for another long night against another top defensive point guard in Eric Bledsoe. There will be no off nights for Ball in a loaded Western Conference with a ton of amazing point guards.
Ingram struggled with his shot. Ingram had been praised for his improvements that he made with his shooting form, but he was unable to get anything going against the Clippers. There will be better nights ahead for the Lakers youngsters, one of which can be tonight against the Suns.
Like the Lakers, Phoenix has a ton of young players. Devin Booker has garnered quite a following because of his scoring prowess. Josh Jackson was their top pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, giving them a potential defensive stopper to pair with Booker on the perimeter.
Seeing all these young players match up will be a lot of fun to watch. One team will also get their first victory of the season. Which team will it be? Here is all the information you need to watch the Lakers and Suns face off for the first of four matchups this season.
