The Los Angeles Lakers face the Utah Jazz at Vivint Smart Home Arena on October 28th, 2017. Here is all the information you will need to watch the game.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz face off tonight for the first of three games this season. The Lakers will be heading out on the road for the second time this season, while the Jazz will be playing at home for the third time.
Both teams come into the game tonight with a 2-3 record. The Lakers lost last night to the Toronto Raptors to drop their record back under .500. The Jazz are riding a two-game losing streak, as they lost both games on their mini road trip to the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns.
Something will have to give tonight, as both teams have undefeated marks on the line tonight. The Lakers won their only road game of the season thus far, defeating the aforementioned Suns. The Jazz have yet to lose at home, going 2-0 thus far.
Tonight’s game features some electric rookies to watch for as well. Lonzo Ball has struggled with his shot so far this season but has contributed in other ways. Kyle Kuzma has provided a scoring punch off the Lakers bench, and the Jazz have a great rookie of their own in Donovan Mitchell.

On the interior, Brook Lopez and Rudy Gobert will be doing battle. Lopez and Gobert are two of the more talented centers in the NBA and will make for a fun matchup to watch throughout the night.
Overall, this will be a stiff test for the Lakers. Utah has one of the best defenses in the NBA, allowing opponents to score 96.4 points per game on 44.6 percent shooting.
If the Lakers are going to exploit the Jazz, it could happen from the three-point line. The Jazz defense is very good overall, but their weak point thus far this season is defending the three-point line, where they allow opponents to shoot 36.2 percent.
Will the Lakers be able to get the job done from the perimeter and get back to the .500 mark? Or will the Jazz get back to the .500 mark with a victory? We will have to tune in and find out!
