The Los Angeles Lakers travel to take on the Washington Wizards tonight, November 9th, 2017. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards will play tonight at the Capital One Arena. This will be the second night of a back-to-back for the Lakes, who lost last night to the Boston Celtics. Los Angeles comes into the game with a 5-6 record.
Washington also comes into the game off a loss. They lost on Tuesday to the Dallas Mavericks, dropping their record to 5-5 on the season.
This will be the second and final meeting between the Lakers and Wizards this season. The Lakers won the first meeting at STAPLES Center on October 25th in overtime. It was a great comeback victory for the young Lakers, who overcame an 11-point fourth quarter deficit to pick up the victory.
The Wizards will be looking for some retribution tonight. In the first meeting, there was a lot of chatter before the game courtesy of Marcin Gortat. He said John Wall would ‘torture‘ Lonzo Ball in their matchup.

It didn’t go as expected, as Ball held his own against Wall. Ball didn’t shoot well but stuffed the stat sheet with six points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. Wall didn’t come close to torturing Ball, as he shot 7-of-22 for 18 points with nine assists and three rebounds.
That matchup will be one to watch again tonight. Wall will be looking to bounce back after a poor first performance, while Ball is looking to gain confidence in his jump shot.
One player who showed up for the Wizards in the first matchup was Bradley Beal. Beal led all scorers with 28 points as the Lakers could not slow him down.
This was also the first game we saw Julius Randle really embrace his role off the bench. Brandon Ingram also played very well, essentially carrying the Lakers in the second half into overtime with an efficient scoring night.
