The Los Angeles Lakers knocked off the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night. Check out our recap and highlights of the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers winning streak is over! The Lakers finally got into the win column on their homestand, knocking off the Denver Nuggets in impressive fashion on Monday night. The Lakers took control near the end of the first quarter and never looked back, defeating the Nuggets 127-109.
It was a strong night for the Lakers on both ends of the court. Offensively, judging from the score, it was a great night. The 127 points are the second most scored in a game this season by the Lakers. Tonight, they got contributions from virtually everyone.
The Lakers had seven players score in double figures tonight. They made 53 percent of their shots and a solid 37.5 percent from deep. Los Angeles came into the game with the worst 3-point shooting percentage in the NBA, so this was an encouraging night.
Julius Randle led the way off the bench with 24 points. Randle saw an increase in minutes and made the most of it as the 24 points were a season-high. He also added seven rebounds and five assists for a very strong game.

Ballβs performance tonight was great. He attacked the basket for some easy shot attempts, shooting 5-of-13 from the field. He made only 1-of-4 from 3-point range, but it is the rest of his stat line that deserves attention.
Ball recorded his second career triple-double, as he pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds to go with 11 assists. He also added two blocks and solid defense as Jamal Murray shot only 2-of-11 from the field.
The Nuggets had seven players of their own score in double-figures with Gary Harris leading the way with 20. The Lakers caught a huge break when star center Nikola Jokic was ejected in the first half and Paul Millsap was forced from the game with an injury.
Los Angeles took full advantage, defeating the Nuggets in relatively easy fashion.
