The Los Angeles Lakers knocked off the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night to end their homestand on a high note.

The Los Angeles Lakers homestand didnโ€™t start off well. Losses to the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns were disappointing, to say the least. They finally picked up a victory in Game 3 of the homestand, knocking off the Denver Nuggets. Tonight the homestand ended and it was on a positive note.

The Lakers would defeat the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, 103-94. As you can see from the score, this was an unsightly game at times offensively. The Lakers scored only 42 points in the first half, as the Bulls led 56-42 at halftime.

The Lakers were sleepwalking through the first half but finally woke up after halftime. Los Angeles would drop a 30-spot on the Bulls in the third quarter to climb back into the game, holding Chicago to 19 points. The defensive effort continued in the fourth quarter as the Bulls scored 19 once again, while the Lakers scored 31 to put the game away.

Once again the bench was a big factor in the comeback. Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and Josh Hart all brought a spark to the game when playing alongside Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Randle produced a double-double off the bench in 28 minutes, scoring 10 points with 10 rebounds to go along with two assists and two blocks. Clarkson played only 16 minutes but scored 12 points.

The leading scorer for the Lakers tonight was Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma poured in 22 points, shooting 7-of-15 from the field and 4-of-7 from 3-point land. Brandon Ingram was aggressive in the second half attacking the basket en route to 17 points.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored a season-high 21 points including multiple big shots down the wire. He was excellent on both ends of the court tonight adding nine rebounds, four assists and three steals with a plus/minus ratio of +23.

Lonzo Ball led the team with 13 rebounds, his second consecutive double-digit rebounding effort and fourth overall this season. He added four assists and one steal as he continues to help in other ways as he figures out his shot. Ball made multiple three-pointers for the fourth time this season but still shot an underwhelming 3-of-13 from the field and 2-of-8 from 3-point land.

The Bulls had six players score in double-figures, led by 17 from Denzel Valentine. However, their offense sputtered in the second half. They finished the game shooting 38.3 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from beyond the arc.
