The Los Angeles Lakers will be hosting the Golden State Warriors tonight, December 18th, 2017, at the STAPLES Center. Here is all the information you need to watch!
The Los Angeles Lakers have wrapped up their road trip. After going 2-2 against their Eastern Conference foes, the Lakers are back at the STAPLES Center tonight. The Lakers may wish they were still on the east coast, as their schedule doesn’t get any easier tonight.
Los Angeles will be hosting the Golden State Warriors tonight. The Lakers come into the game on a two-game losing streak, falling to the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers to end their road trip.
The Warriors come into the game on an eight-game winning streak. Oddly enough, that streak began the last time these two teams faced.
On November 29th the Warriors also paid a visit to the STAPLES Center. The young Lakers gave them everything they could handle, eventually losing in overtime 127-123.

If the Lakers play with the same energy and effort tonight, they could come away with a victory. The Warriors team that the Lakers faced in that last matchup is not the same one they will be taking on tonight.

Golden State is banged up and ripe for the upset. Four rotation players will miss the game for the Warriors tonight.
Point guard Stephen Curry, center Zaza Pachulia and guard Shaun Livingston are all out and didn’t even make the trip. Draymond Green did make the trip, but he will be sidelined as well.
Those injuries could help swing the tide in the Lakers direction. Also helping is that they will be playing in front of an electric, sellout crowd because Kobe Bryant will be present. Bryant will have his No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys retired and raised to the rafters tonight.
It will be an emotional evening from that standpoint as multiple Lakers legends will be on hand. Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Elgin Baylor and Gary Paton are some of the many people expected to be present tonight.
