The Los Angeles Lakers travel to the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets tonight, December 20th, 2017. Here is all the information you need to watch or listen to the game!

The Los Angeles Lakers are heading back on the road tonight. After losing a thrilling overtime game to the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, the Lakers will be traveling to take on the Western Conference-leading Houston Rockets.

The Lakers are running into a buzzsaw tonight. While Los Angeles is on a three-game losing streak and has lost eight of their last 10 games, the Rockets have been rolling.

Houston comes into tonight’s game on a ridiculous 14 game winning streak. They have not lost since November 14th and have won 20 of their last 21 games. The Rockets have been steamrolling teams, something the Lakers have already experienced first hand this season.

Back on December 4th, the Lakers and Rockets faced off for the first time of the season. Houston ran Los Angeles out of the STAPLES Center, blowing them out 118-95. The Lakers had no answer for the high-powered Rockets offense, and couldn’t crack their stingy defense, either.

More from Lakers News

James Harden led the way with 36 points, while Eric Gordon scored 22 off the bench and Chris Paul had 21. The Rockets made half of their shots in the game and knocked down 17 3-pointers as well.

The Lakers did their best to keep up offensively, as five players scored in double-figures, led by 22 from Kyle Kuzma. However, it was not enough as the Lakers made only 38.1 percent of their shots from the field and nine 3-pointers.

The Lakers will be catching a bit of a break tonight. Rockets center Clint Capela will be sidelined with a heel issue. It can be debated how much of an issue it really is, as Capela scored 24 points with 19 rebounds on Monday night against the Jazz.

With Capela sidelined, the Rockets have gone smaller sometimes with Ryan Anderson in the frontcourt with Trevor Ariza and P.J. Tucker. Nene Hilario and former Laker Tarik Black could also receive more minutes.

Even with Capela sidelined, the Lakers will still have their hands full tonight. The Rockets play at a rapid pace and are stifling on defense as well. It will be a tall task to pull off the upset tonight.

Can’t figure out where to find the game? Don’t worry, we have all the information you need to either watch or listen to the game between the Lakers and Rockets tonight!
