Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, the fiercest competitor on Earth, reacted to his Philadelphia Eagles win their first Super Bowl, and it was priceless.
No big party, no crowds, no seat in US Bank Stadium, Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers legend, sat at home with his family to watch his Philadelphia Eagles win their first NFL championship.
Watching his reaction was just priceless, and if you are a Lakers fan and were pulling for the Eagles to win then, it makes it extra special to watch.
Being the Site Expert for the Arizona Wildcats for FanSided, ZonaZealots.com, and a huge Lakers fan writing for the Lake Show Life, I can totally relate!
To catch you up on the Wildcats football program, they had just fired their head coach Rich Rodriguez under a cloud of sexual harassment and hired former Texas A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin. Bear with me here.

Arizona Athletics new Athletic Director Dave Heeke had a plan as he had three former Cats playing in the Super Bowl. Rob Gronkowski and Marquis Flowers on the Patriots, and Nick Foles quarterbacking the Eagles (first one ever) after his teammate Carson Wentz went down to injury.
So Heeke bought billboards in Phoenix near rival ASU campus and also in Minnesota to commemorate the occasion and rub it into all the other schools, help with recruiting and tell the world how proud the school was of their alumni.
Sound like something the Black Mamba would do?
Well, I was all in with the Eagles as were most Wildcats fans because Arizona had never had a quarterback play in a Super Bowl. What a story right? So if I was all in, can you imagine what a true Eagles fan would be feeling after the win? Kobe Bryant is a true fan.
Being a huge Kobe fan, and being a huge Wildcats fan, and still feeling high off the win, I stumbled across a tweet with a video of Kobe Bryant holding his baby daughter celebrating the victory. The video was taken by Mrs. Bryant.
I immediately started drawing the parallels. Nick Foles was holding his baby daughter and talking about how she knew nothing about what had just happened. Kobe was dancing in his living room, and his baby daughter also knew nothing about what had just happened.
Kobe is a fierce competitor that never gives up. Nick Foles is a tough competitor that never gives up and never listened to any naysayers ever.
On the last play of the game, Tom Brady launched a bomb to his tight end in the end zone. Gronk was surrounded by Eagles and almost came up with the ball, almost. The rest is history.
It had to be special for Kobe to be celebrating his team and knowing that the backstory, “We won the F***ing Super Bowl!” This is the entire video, a lot of tweets only have the ending…it’s so sweet and so fun at the same time.
Kobe was just happy he didn’t hurt himself celebrating. He describes how he watched the Super Bowl with all his superstitions in an interview with Jamele Hill.
Here is Lakers assistant coach Miles Simon with his favorite fellow Arizona Alumni quarterback. Simon tells us Foles is a hooper.

How many of you would have wanted to sit with Bryant and watch the Super Bowl with him and celebrate? Is your hand in the air and are you jumping up and down? Yeah, me too!
