The Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves face off tonight in Minneapolis. Here is all the information you need to watch the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves face off tonight for the third time this season. This will be the final game starting in the league before the NBA All-Star break begins tomorrow.
In the first two matchups this season, the Timberwolves rolled. On Christmas night, the Timberwolves won by 17 at the STAPLES Center. On New Year’s Day, it was much of the same, as Minnesota won by 18 at the Target Center.
This is a different Lakers team now than what was on the court in those matchups. The roster and rotations are different, as Andrew Bogut is no longer on the team and Tyler Ennis has been removed from the rotation. In those first two games, Brook Lopez and Lonzo Ball were also injured.
While Lopez has returned, Ball remains sidelined. However, the Lakers have learned how to play without their starting point guard.

The first two matchups against the Timberwolves came when the Lakers struggled without Ball. They lost the first eight games that Ball missed. With the most recent injury that Ball is dealing with, the Lakers are on an 8-4 stretch without him.
Brandon Ingram has taken over point guard duties from Ennis, with Josh Hart moving into the starting lineup. The results have been positive overall despite riding a two-game losing streak.
As the getaway game for both teams, anything can happen. With days off on the horizon, players are looking forward to getting away for a little while and relaxing. As a result, this could be a game that the Lakers steal.
The Timberwolves haven’t been playing great, as they have lost three of their last four games. Can the Lakers pull off an upset and head into the All-Star break on a high note? Or will the Timberwolves settle things down and continue their dominance over Los Angeles this season?
We will have to watch and see! Here is all the information you need to watch the Lakers and Timberwolves face off tonight!
