The Los Angeles Lakers host the Orlando Magic tonight, March 7th, at the STAPLES Center. Here is all the information you need to watch or listen to the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers winning streak was snapped by the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night in heartbreaking fashion. Tonight, the Lakers will look to get back to their winning ways as they host the Orlando Magic.
Despite the loss Monday, the Lakers are playing some great basketball. They have gone 9-4 over their last 13 games, as the young roster looks to be gelling and coming together. The Lakers are looking to exact some revenge tonight against the Magic. In the first meeting this season, at the Amway Center, Orlando blew out Los Angeles 127-105.
The Lakers have a good opportunity to exact that revenge. While the Lakers have been playing better, the Magic, on the other hand, is performing in the exact opposite manner.
Orlando has won two of their last three games but struggled mightily before that. Prior to this mini-run, the Magic were on a seven-game losing streak. Orlando is more interested in ping pong balls than wins, but there are still some players you have to keep an eye on.

Power forward Aaron Gordon is the best player on the Magic. He is having a breakout season, averaging 18 points per game to go along with 8.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Center Nikola Vucevic will also be back in the lineup. He missed the first matchup, and the Magic still rolled. The Lakers will have to key in on him and slow him down.
For Los Angeles, Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram are still sidelined. Ingram is closer to returning than Hart with his strained hip flexor. Hart fractured his left hand and will be out for a few weeks.
With them sidelined, the Lakers will need a better performance from players such as Lonzo Ball and Isaiah Thomas. Both had their struggles against the Trail Blazers on Monday.
The Lakers would benefit from getting a victory tonight as their schedule toughens up over the next few weeks. Getting back on track against the Magic will help the Lakers keep their confidence up as they will face seven consecutive playoff contenders after tonight.
