One of the potential players that the Los Angeles Lakers might draft has hired an agent and he will be staying in the 2018 NBA Draft.
The Los Angeles Lakers have the 25th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, as they will look to add to their talented young core. Due to a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Lakers were able to get back into the first round, which was a goal of the organization at the trading deadline.
In recent years, the Lakers have done very well drafting, and they will look to continue that. Last season, Rob Pelinka and Magic Johnson did a great job in the draft, as they drafted three impact players in the first round.
While Lonzo Ball was selected with the second overall pick, the Lakers added Kyle Kuzma with the 27th overall pick and then Josh Hart with the 30th overall pick. Now, this year, the Lakers will be looking to strike gold once again.
One of the players that the Lakers have seemingly had some interest in is Villanova guard Donte DiVincenzo. Recently, DiVencenzo hired an agent and will be remaining in the NBA Draft, which is a good indication that he believes he will be taken in the first round.
DiVincenzo had a very good career at Villanova, and would be a nice fit for the Lakers. The Lakers figure to be in the market for a guard that can shoot, and DiVincenzo certainly fits that. As a former teammate of Hart in college, DiVincenzo would be reunited with his teammate if the Lakers did take him.
