2. Moritz Wagner

One of the standout players from this year’s NCAA tournament was definitely Mo Wagner. He helped carry Michigan to the national title game and consistently came up clutch when the Wolverines needed him most.

They might not have won the title, but Wagner definitely made enough of an impact in front of a national audience to be selected in the upcoming draft.

The junior from Germany is another experienced player that could possibly come in and make an impact on the Lakers right away. He could provide a much-needed spark for them off of the bench and his enthusiasm for the game would fit in perfectly with Lakers young core.

The most appealing thing about Wagner’s game is that he is the best 3-point shooting big man in this year’s draft. Last season he shot almost 40 percent from beyond the arc, but he will have to prove that he can be that consistent from NBA range.

Wagner is expected to be available when the Lakers pick at 25, and he could be a great fit for the franchise. Magic Johnson reportedly met with him at the draft combine, and even though their two alma maters are rivals, they could join forces this summer come draft time.
