86. . Guard. UCLA. Aaron Holiday. 20. player

The Minnesota Timberwolves took a major step forward last season, but had some glaring issues last season. Near the top of that list is their 3-point shooting. They address that need in a big way with the selection of UCLA point guard, Aaron Holiday.

Holiday had a great season with the Bruins, averaging 20.3 points per game with 5.8 assists. He took over more responsibility with Lonzo Ball and Bryce Alford gone, and responded in a big way.

Holiday would fit right in on the Timberwolves bench, potentially as a replacement for Jamal Crawford, who is opting to become a free agent. He would provide an offensive spark given his scoring and playmaking ability.

His 3-point shooting is really what Minnesota would like. He knocked down at least 41.1 percent of his 3-point attempts in every season at UCLA. His scoring mentality plays more as a backup point guard, but that fills a need for the Timberwolves.

Holiday has pedigree, as his older brothers, Jrue Holiday and Justin Holiday, both are successful players in the NBA. Aaron should be able to carve out a role for himself as well given his scoring prowess.
