3. Both matchups vs the Philadelphia 76ers

This shouldn’t be too shocking either. The Lakers and Sixers had two incredible matchups last season. The first game the Lakers lost by four, with Joel Embiid dropping 46 points and 15 rebounds. Ben Simmons finished one rebound shy of a triple-double.

Brandon Ingram finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Kyle Kuzma contributed with 24 points of his own. Both teams put on a show during this game and if you don’t remember here are some highlights for you.

Also, not a single player I just mentioned above was over the age of 23 at that time…yeah let that sink in.

And in case you have forgotten how the second and final game of their series ended last year, here’s a refresher.

Now throw in LeBron James and the sporadic and hilarious personalities of Joel Embiid and new Lakers, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee, and you have potentially two of the best games of the season.
