The Los Angeles Lakers return home to the Staples Center to host the Dallas Mavericks on Halloween night.

The Los Angeles Lakers and their fans are beginning to get restless. After Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Lakers record sits at 2-5. Everyone knew an adjustment period would be needed, but the suspensions for Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram set them back again.

Both Rondo and Ingram are back in the lineup, which means Luke Walton has to readjust his rotation again. With those two in the lineups, the Lakers are yet to win a game.

They will be looking to change that tonight when they return back home. After suffering two tough road losses to the San Antonio Spurs and Timberwolves, Los Angeles will look for some home cooking at the Staples Center.

The Lakers have an excellent shot to get right tonight against the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks enter the game with a 2-5 record. They are riding a four-game losing streak and desperate for a win, so the Lakers cannot take their foot off the gas.

More from Lake Show Life

This will be the first time that Los Angeles gets a look at rookie Luka Doncic. Doncic has lived up to the hype, leading the team with 20.4 points per game, adding 6.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists. Doncic is the new face of the franchise, as Dirk Nowitzki is in the twilight of his career. Nowitzki has yet to suit up this season and won’t be playing against the Lakers.

Los Angeles could have their hands full in the frontcourt. DeAndre Jordan has been excellent to begin the season and Harrison Barnes is back in the lineup as well. The Lakers have struggled to rebound, but they should be able to hold their own against the Mavericks, who are 21st in rebounding.
