– Michael Beasley

It has not been an easy season for Michael Beasley in his first year with the Lakers. Off the court, Beasley has had to go through the passing of his mother, which of course, is not an easy thing to go through for any man.

However, after taking time to be with his mother before she passed, Beasley has been playing some great basketball since rejoining the team. In the last three games, Beasley has been in the rotation for the Lakers, and he has provided a necessary scoring spark off the bench.

In his last three games, Beasley has scored in double figures in each of them, and he has done so very efficiently. With field goal percentages above 60 percent during that span, Beasley is playing extremely well for the Lakers off the bench. Without James, the Lakers need to find some players who can help make up for the scoring that they are missing without him. Since getting minutes in the rotation, Beasley has shown an ability to do that.

With the Jazz being a very strong defensive team, scoring in double figures off the bench would be a big lift for the Lakers on Friday night.
