– Paul George

While many thought that Paul George was going to be coming to the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason, the very talented George instead decided very early on that Oklahoma City was the place for him.

After the team didn’t achieve the success that they would have liked last season, they are doing much better this season. One of the main reasons for that is because of the play of George. So far this season, George is having a great year.

In his second season with the Thunder, George is averaging a career-high with 26.6 points per game and also a career-high at 8.1 rebounds per game. George has really elevated his already All-Star level talent this season, and has emerged as the go-to scorer for the Thunder.

With Westbrook taking a bit of a backseat to George in the scoring department, he is once again averaging a triple-double this season, and the duo is one of the best in the league. While George has had a great season, he has struggled with his shot a bit as of late. This is certainly a reason why the Thunder have been struggling, but he will likely break out of his funk soon.
