The Los Angeles Lakers look to snap their two-game losing streak tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves and we have all the information you need to enjoy the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers have lost two games in a row. They dropped a tough one against the Houston Rockets in overtime in a game Lonzo Ball was also injured. The Golden State Warriors then exacted some revenge from their Christmas Day game on Monday night, handling the Lakers with ease.
Los Angeles will now host the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second game of their four-game homestand looking to exact some revenge of their own.
Los Angeles and Minnesota have faced off three previous times this season, with the Timberwolves winning two of the three games. The most recent game was a blowout victory for Minnesota, as they defeated Los Angeles by 22 points. Following that game, they fired their head coach, Tom Thibodeau.
While the Lakers will have revenge on their mind, they will have their hands full tonight. It has already been announced that LeBron James will miss his 15th game because of a groin injury. Starting point guard Lonzo Ball will also be out because of a Grade 3 left ankle sprain that will keep him out 4-6 weeks.

On a positive note, the Lakers will possibly get Rajon Rondo back in the lineup tonight against the Timberwolves. Rondo is expected to be back in the lineup after missing the last 14 games with a hand injury, the second one he has suffered this season.
Rondo should step right into the starting lineup should he return, replacing Ball for as long as he is out for.
For Minnesota, Jeff Teague has been battling injuries. If he is unable to go, Derrick Rose should remain in the starting lineup for them. The Lakers will also have to keep tabs on Karl-Anthony Towns, as he is playing some great basketball recently.

Oddsmakers are expecting this to be a very close game. All of the injuries have put the Lakers as small underdogs in this game, giving them some value. Minnesota has not good this season on the road, whether it is their overall record or against the number. Los Angeles has been good at the Staples Center, going 15-10, but they aren’t covering many numbers, going 9-14 ATS.
