Recent Los Angeles Lakers rumors stated that LeBron James trust in the organization was damaged, but he quickly shut those rumors down.
With the current state of the Los Angeles Lakers, there have been plenty of Lakers rumors dominating headlines. With Magic Johnson resigning and Luke Walton mutually agreeing to leave, the Lakers have two high profile positions open in president of basketball operations and head coach.
This much turnover is not unheard of in the NBA, but for an organization in the position of the Lakers, it is odd. Rob Pelinka is the last man standing, even though he is arguably the worst at his job of the three.
There are plenty of Lakers rumors involving the president of basketball operations. The Lakers reportedly have someone lined up for the job. There have been multiple people interviewed for the head coaching spot as well, with Pelinka leading the way in that department.
There are many different opinions that have been shared about the current state of the Lakers. One opinion who carries a lot of weight is the opinion of LeBron James.

James was surprised by Johnson’s decision to step down. That was the most that James has said, as he and the organization have remained relatively quiet about the ordeal.
With James being so quiet, people began assuming there was a problem. It was reported that James’ trust in the organization has been damaged with the recent events that have occurred.
However, that does not seem to be the case. After that was reported, James took to his Instagram account to refute the rumors as he was at the Lakers’ facility working out.
The Lakers missing the postseason has stirred up plenty of conversation, as this was the first time James has missed the postseason since his second season in the league. James having faith in the organization still is important as they can improve the team in a big way this offseason.
With cap space for a max free agent, Los Angeles could quickly move up the Western Conference standings.
With James already in the fold, young players such as Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and Kyle Kuzma and another lottery pick on the way, the Lakers could be a dangerous team in 2019-20.
