3. Bol Bol

The son of former NBA player Manute Bol, who was one of the tallest players ever at 7’7, Bol Bol has his father’s height at 7’2 and rim protecting ability.

In nine games, Bol Bol averaged 21 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game for the Oregon Ducks. He also shot 56% from the field and 52% from three, which is impressive considering he is 7’2.

Bol is very versatile and extremely skilled. In my opinion, he is one of the best players who can truly do it all at his height. It’s not every day that you see a 7’2 center consistently knocking down 3-pointers. Bol went 4-of-6 from behind the arc against Texas Southern and scored 32 points along with 11 boards.

A great rim protector is always needed and being able to shoot the three is something that would help the Lakers out.

The one blemish for Bol is health. He only played in nine games this season after suffering a left foot injury. It is still unclear when his timetable is to return but it should not be too long. Bol will also need to get much stronger to be a dominant player in the post against bigger and stronger NBA players. However, he definitely has the potential to be something very special.
