6. Kyle Korver

A deadly 3-point shooter, one of the best in the history of the game, has recently been part of the package that landed Mike Conley in Utah. A young team in full rebuilding mode, the Memphis Grizzlies are likely going to cut Korver before his contract becomes fully guaranteed on July 7, allowing them to spare some money and cap space and better use it on more younger players.

If it was not part of their original plan, Korver will certainly ask to be released. As a 38-year-old veteran, he certainly does not wish to spend his remaining seasons on a rebuilding team, rather competing for a championship.

It is hard to see the Grizzlies not granting his wish, as the veteran commands some respect around the league for his conduct through his career and his strong work ethic.

Talking about the contribution he would give to the Lakers, his numbers are clear. A career 43 percent 3-point shooter, the former Jazz shot an NBA record 54 percent from three in 2010 and is ninth overall in the league in career percentage.

There is no need to further list and point out his accomplishments. Kyle Korver is very well known in the league for his ability. Although at 38 years old his defense might not be equally dependable, he remains a safe option for the Lakers, enhanced by his price and acquaintance with LeBron James.
