5. Andre Iguodala

The sudden trade of Andre Iguodala from the Golden State Warriors to the Memphis Grizzlies put the former Finals MVP in uncharted territory.

According to Anthony Slater:

That was probably not the plan for the 15-year veteran, who hopefully expected to finish his career on the Warriors after signing a three-year contract in 2017.

If Slater’s assumption corresponds to truth, Iguodala would be the perfect piece to add to the Lakers roster. A sixth man, with championship experience who certainly would be a respected voice in the Locker room.

His trade was so unexpected that right now he really does not have a market.

Working under the assumption that following the buyout he will accept a veteran minimum contract, in order to keep competing for a championship, the Lakers should keep an eye on Iguodala and how his situation develops.
