Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is one of the highest-rated players in NBA 2K20 and the highest rated center in the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers landed the second superstar they coveted when they acquired Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. It cost a lot, but the Lakers accomplished their goal of pairing a top-flight player with LeBron James.

Upon being acquired, it was reported that Davis was going to be gifted the No. 23 from James. Davis had worn No. 23 with the Pelicans for all seven seasons of his career and during his lone season with the Kentucky Wildcats.

As a result, Davis had to select a new number to wear with the Lakers. Davis was sent some numbers to choose from and settled on the No. 3. How he got to that decision was interesting.

Davis said he decided on No. 3 after putting them on in 2K to see how he looked. It was also the number he wore when he was younger, which he shared on Instagram.

2K is one of the most popular video games around. If fans have had fun playing with Davis in that game in previous seasons, they will enjoy it, even more, this year as it was announced that Davis is one of the best players in the game.

Davis received an overall of 94, making him the seventh-best player in the game. That also makes the former Pelican the highest rated center in the game as well.

James is the highest-rated player in the game, followed by Kawhi Leonard, who are both 97 overall. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant and James Hard round out the top-five rated players, all receiving an overall of 96. The only other player rated ahead of Davis is Stephen Curry, who is a 95.

The closest rated center to Davis is Joel Embiid, who received a 91 and is the 10th rated player. Rounding out the top-10 is Paul George at 93 overall and Damian Lillard, who received a 92.

The last player to wear No. 3 for the Lakers, coincidentally, was Josh Hart, who was in the trade package for Davis along with Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and future first-round picks.
