After looking at the players near the end of the Los Angeles Lakers’ depth chart, let’s move up in the rotation and rank players No. 10-6 on the team’s roster.

Welcome to part two of my three-part series where we’ll be looking at each player on the 2019-2020 Los Angeles Lakers and determine where they rank in the grand scheme of the team. If you haven’t already, I would recommend reading part one, where I ranked the 15th-11th best players on the team.

For those of you returning, this is where the list starts to get more interesting, as there is a multitude of ways to rank the next five players.

To reiterate my reasoning, I’m trying to take into account the entirety of what a player can bring to the Lakers, meaning that I value a more balanced, versatile player over a player who specializes in one or two things.

I also took into consideration factors such as offensive and defensive versatility, how they make the players around them better, and the role they are expected to play on the team.

Unlike the first set of players, who will likely receive limited minutes throughout the season, these are players that should play a big part in the team’s rotation throughout the season. Some of them, in certain circumstances, could even break into the starting lineup.

This is where the list starts to get interesting, as there are a lot of ways to evaluate/rank these next five players.
