The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls face off tonight at the United Center in Chicago and we have all the information you need to enjoy the game!

The Los Angeles Lakers are rolling to begin the 2019-20 season. After losing on opening night to the LA Clippers, they have played inspired basketball on both ends of the court and have rattled off five consecutive victories. They will look to make it six tonight against the Chicago Bulls.

Tonight is the third and final game of the Lakers‘ first road trip of the season. They picked up an impressive come from behind victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the first game, as Danny Green knocked down a 3-pointer to force overtime and LeBron James willed the team to victory.

In the second game of the trip, the Lakers led essentially the whole game but needed some late heroics from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to hold off the San Antonio Spurs. Now, in Game 3 of the trip, they will look to keep the good times rolling in The Windy City.

This will be a homecoming for Anthony Davis, who hails from Chicago. He is making his hometown proud, as he has been doing everything well except 3-point shooting.

That is the only area of his game that Davis has not yet gotten going, as he is shooting 22.2 percent from distance. Despite that, he is still leading the team with 28.5 points per game to go along with 11.5 rebounds, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 3.0 blocks.

Lauri Markkanen will be tasked wih slowing Davis down tonight. He has been solid thus far this season, averaging 16 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per night. Along with Zach LaVine and Otto Porter Jr., they give the Bulls a solid trio.

LaVine leads the team with 21.1 points per game. If Danny Green can slow him down, it will help the Lakers in a big way toward getting a victory.

The Lakers could count on Green even more as they may be shorthanded in the backcourt. Avery Bradley was injured in the team’s game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday and is considered day-to-day with a contusion. If he is unable to play, Alex Caruso and KCP will be tasked with picking up the slack.

Chicago comes into tonight’s game with a 2-5 record. If the Lakers want to remain atop the Western Conference, these are the types of games they need to win to continue padding their record.
