Alex Caruso

Without a shadow of a doubt, the bald mamba is the greatest player ever to lace them up…… I’m kidding of course.

Alex Caruso is what every single successful team needs. A glue guy.

In Alex Caruso, you get nothing but an effort on both ends of the floor.

Caruso is not the most skilled player, nor is he the quickest, most athletic or best shooter, but none of that seems to matter to him as he is willing to do whatever it takes to help his side succeed.

Whether that is staying in front of his man and making life difficult for him, taking charges or simply just providing valuable energy to a team effort, Caruso has made himself a fan favorite amongst the Lakers faithful by simply just giving his all to the team.

At the end of the day, you can’t ask much more than that.

While Caruso may not see major minutes during the playoffs, the minutes he will be asked to play you can bet he will leave everything on the floor and let the other team know that he was there.

With his ability to play both guard spots, Caruso edges out the likes of Quinn Cook and Troy Daniels in the playoff rotation.

While some may wonder why KCP does not make the rotation, you need to only look at his play to start the season to see why he is on the outside looking in.

If Caldwell-Pope can recapture his form, then he cuts but for now, it’s Caruso’s spot to lose.
