LeBron James found some time to watch his eldest son, LeBron James Jr., recently and Lake Show Life breaks down the past and the future of the James basketball family.

LeBron James had a wild weekend. First, he survived a Jimmy Butler demolition and missed shot to beat the Miami Heat. Then he took off to Ohio to watch his son Bronny against his alma mater.

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently 3-0 on their road trip after defeating the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks. LeBron James took the scenic route after leaving South Beach. He flew back to Ohio to watch his son Bronny’s high school team play his alma mater.

Oh well, here comes the unsolicited and ridiculous commentary about LeBron and his complete and utter thirst for attention. Remember Jason Whitlock’s ahem “opinion” on how LeBron James is a social media junkie that uses his son’s exploits for exposure to his brand?

Somewhere LaVar Ball is rolling over in his grave right now considering that this is even an issue.

Now, this was an AAU game in the summertime. Every NBA writer and analyst will cover a story like this. It’s LeBron and nothing else is going on.

This time, LeBron’s son, Bronny was playing in a high school game. Same situation here. The man is trying to make it to at least ONE of his son’s games. I mean the dude is busy around this time of year.

Instead of watching his son on a TV screen last Saturday, he laid eyes on his son in person when Sierra Canyon took on James’ alma mater of St. Vincent-St. Mary high school in Columbus, Ohio.

After the game in Miami, LeBron discussed his feelings on how much he hated missing seeing his son play via the L.A. Times.

"“If you ask me what’s been the only sucky thing about this season so far is that my son has played like six games into his freshman year and I haven’t seen one,” James said. “I love what I do. I don’t take this for granted. This is a dream come true. But missing my son, you know Bron Jr., missing Bryce’s first game the other day when we left for Orlando, his first game of the season. Missing my daughter at gymnastics and things of that nature, and I understand the business, but it sucks.”"

Spoiler alert: LeBron James did celebrate in this game too. But did he celebrate as he did in the AAU game that drove LeBron-haters to discuss the topic for a week?

That remains to be seen. But let’s go into the game first and see how Bronny did during the game!
