The Los Angeles Lakers have had some defining moments in the 2019-20 season so far. We take a look at the top three this season.

Every year the Los Angeles Lakers are going to win games they should’ve lost and lose games they should’ve won. The hope is that in the end, the Lakers’ positive ones have more in the column than the negative ones. Teams will go through ups-and-downs in this league and battling through them separates the pretenders from the contenders.

The Lakers are contenders. They boast two of the best players in basketball and a plethora of good role players. They’re number one in the West and are continuing to hit their stride amid some early season injuries. They’re playing great basketball on both ends of the floor.

They have even started to beat playoff contenders such as picking up a few wins against the Dallas Mavericks. They will be tasked with a tougher schedule going forward and will need to be able to beat the top teams. This will go a long way in asserting their contender status.

Teams will have defining moments each year and the Lakers have already been involved in a few. They have been on the positive side of them more then the negative side and that will add up at the end of the year when seeding is decided. The team is currently on pace to win 60+ games and their combination of players and coaches has been a good mixture.

With that being said we will dive into the top three moments of the 2019-20 season so far for the Lakers. It wasn’t an easy list to make but one that has some good highlights. This Lakers team is as good as it’s been in a long time.
