The Los Angeles Lakers continue their road trip tonight with a visit to the Boston Celtics and we have all the information you need to watch or listen to the game!

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to continue their success on the road during this road trip. They will be looking to continue rolling with a visit to the Boston Celtics.

Things got off on the right foot, as the Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets in the first game of the trip, 124-115. What made the victory so important wasn’t just that it came against a strong team in the Rockets on the road, it came without Anthony Davis.

Davis missed his fifth consecutive game as he deals with a gluteus maximus bruise suffered from a fall during the game against the New York Knicks on January 7th. If Davis is forced to miss another game, the Celtics will be catching a break, as Davis has been dominant on the court this season. However, they will still have their hands full with Davis’ replacement, Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma has been playing well in place of Davis in the starting lineup. He scored 23 points against the Rockets, the third time in five games he scored at least that many points. In the other two games, he combined for only 15 points, so the inconsistency is still there, but he has flashed more confidence during this run.

In addition to Kuzma, the Lakers have been relying more heavily on JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard to soak up more minutes in the middle as well. They have responded in a positive manner, as the two are dominating as a duo, giving the team rebounding, rim protection and efficient offense.

The Lakers are catching the Celtics at a good time. Boston has lost three consecutive games, losing to the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns, two of which were at home. They have lost six of their last eight games as they, too, are dealing with injuries.

Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams have all missed time recently with varying injuries. They have had to dig deep into their roster as a result and lean heavily on Marcus Smart, Gordon Hayward and Jayson Tatum.

Despite both teams being potentially shorthanded, you know that both teams will come to play. As long as LeBron James is in the lineup, you know he will have the Lakers ready to go. With this being the only visit the Lakers will make to Boston, you know the Celtics will be prepared as well for a nationally televised game.
