Avery Bradley came out the gate balling for the Los Angeles Lakers!

A bet these two stars are thinking, “Where has this Avery Bradley been all season? This guy can shoot!” A special shout out needs to go out to some of the regulars that read these post games consistently.

For the most part (Hey they are some that you know…) the comment sections are loaded with some great debates and conversations about the player’s progress. There was a great conversation based on the production of Avery Bradley and Danny Green, who both have been up and down offensively this season. Lake Show Life paid attention and Avery Bradley gave fans plenty to watch.

Avery Bradley got the Lakers started early with his hot shooting in the first quarter. Bradley scored 16 of his 19 points in the first frame. Some of it he did with some style.

This is how hot AB was in this game. Forget the shot, we know he hit it. Watch LeBron James in the background while the ball is in the air.

Check out the score. 30-13, no check that, 33-13? The dude was killing on the floor. If you think LeBron’s pose with a fist in the air was something, this play right here shows that Bradley was felling himself.

Nemanja Bjelica was buzzard meat the second he closed out. Let’s break down how nasty this was.

  1. First Avery hit him with an up fake that put him in the paratrooper club.
  2. Then he hit him with a power dribble that put him on skates.
  3. Finally pulled the dribble back, told him to smile, thanked him for coming out and dropped a 3-pointer in his face.

Bradley shot 7-of-13 from the floor (5-of-9 from the land of the extra point!) with two rebounds.

A bigger sample size of observation will be needed to see if Bradley can do this on a consistent basis. Frank Vogel at times doesn’t give Bradley enough time on the floor or touches to get a good shooting rhythm.

He only played 20 minutes in this game. The rotations are part of the reason, but eventually, Vogel will have to shorten them. If AB is going to be in that short rotation for the playoffs, getting him shots early to get involved in the offense can’t do anything but help.
