LeBron James had another triple-double. In other news, the sky is blue and water is wet!

The Los Angeles Lakers have only one playmaker on the roster. You can look at the picture above for reference. LeBron James had the Lakers offense running like a well-oiled machine every time he was on the floor. LeBron James played one of his best floor games of the season bouncing back from a really emotional night.

In 34 minutes, LeBron filled up the box score with 15 points,11 assists and 13 rebounds for yet another triple-double. He is second in the NBA in that category behind Luka Doncic. With Doncic out for at least five games, it likely LeBron will lead the league in this category too.

Lake Show Life was very critical last year about LeBron gathering “empty” stats. All of these statistics are within the realm of the Lakers offense. Did he shoot well? No. But he played great. Unlike many players, he doesn’t allow his scoring numbers to dictate the other aspects of his game.

A perfect example here.

Instead of standing out at the 3-point line, LeBron is constantly moving and cutting. Bogdanovic fell asleep watching AD in the post. When he turned his head, James did what players are supposed to do, cut to the basket and receive the pass. Old school efficient basketball.

Now, this is just perfect. As the crowd serenades the arena shouting KOBE! KOBE! KOBE! LeBron drops this jumper to make it complete.

How dominant was LeBron James in this game? He had a game-high plus/minus of +33. In this game, LeBron was playing chess while the Sacramento Kings were playing checkers.

What needs to be addressed about this Lakers superstar is the leadership during this tough time for this franchise. Frank Vogel called James a “Tower of Strength” before the game.

"“I think he’s been really a tower of strength for all of us,” he said. “He’s really been a great leader in this difficult time for us, both by example and by just being a vocal leader and we’re following his lead. And he’s been terrific this week and I’m sure he’ll be terrific again tonight.”"

He was and will be for the rest of the season.
