Congratulate LeBron James everyone! He’s going to be the Finals MVP!

LeBron James stunk in the first half folks. After placing blame on himself for an 8 turnover performance in Game 3, he looked like he was well on his way to even worse performance in Game 4. He had 5 turnovers in the first half, he missed layups and even though he was the only Laker that shot free throws in the first half, he missed some of those.

Lucky for the Los Angeles Lakers, there’s a first and second half in a basketball game because LeBron was totally different after halftime.

The turnovers disappeared as he only turned the ball over once for the rest of the game. He also exploded offensively in the third quarter, scoring more points in the frame than he did in the entire first half.

After a sloppy first half with only 8 points, LeBron dropped 20 points on the Heat’s head to finish with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. What’s worse for Miami, they can no longer depend on laying off and letting him shoot 3 point shots. James hit a pair to force adjustments and open things up for AD to get his game started.

Speaking of adjustments, LeBron even did it on the defensive end. In Game 3, the Heat would run the pick and roll play with Jimmy Butler to force a switch to get LeBron off him. In Game 4, he did not switch. Butler barbecued James’ teammates for his 40 points in the prior game, but just like LeBron did with Jamal Murray, he took on the challenge.

When his leadership was questioned a couple of nights ago, he basically reminded everyone who leads the Lake Show!

LeBron James kept the ship afloat until Anthony Davis made his presence known. Read on to see how he did.
