The Los Angeles Lakers were so close to being crowned NBA Champions on Friday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers have lost the “Gentlemen’s Sweep” sweepstakes. Despite LeBron James and Anthony Davis playing out of their minds, there will be a Game 6! The Lakers lose with Jimmy Butler almost matching the performance of Game 3! There are so many debates to break down in Lake Show Life Lessons. The only Los Angeles Lakers postgame with video analysis!

The Lake Show Life Lessons series finale was already done. It was a party theme shining light on the major players that brought the franchise’s 17th NBA World Championship. The only thing that the piece needed was one picture of the team with the Larry O’Brien trophy. It probably would have taken about 35 seconds.

It took a 35 point triple-double from Jimmy Butler that matched his masterpiece in Game 3 to delay the article along with the trophy presentation and champagne.

This NBA Finals will go down as the lowest-rated championship series in history and writers that want to politicize and blame LeBron James for being woke, (Yes, Jason Whitlock, calling LeBron James, the “Black Donald Trump” we’re talking about you!) will be the same ones lying a few years later saying they saw the games and singing his graces.

The last 6 minutes of Game 5 was epic and the ones that watched was blessed to see a showing of the beauty of pure basketball.

When this writer started at this website last year, most of these reports consisted of calling out LeBron James for not closing out games almost on a per-game basis. To anyone reading this that tries to throw this man under the bus for making the right play by passing the ball to Danny Green in the finals seconds does not know the game of basketball. This is above your head. Much more on the breakdown of the play later.

LeBron James showed why he’s a three-time NBA champion and considered the best player on the planet in this game. It is a crying shame that he’ll have to play on Sunday. The Miami Heat extended the series against the Los Angeles Lakers in a 111-108 win in Game 5. The series now stands at 3-2.

Game 6 is going to be especially crucial for Los Angeles Lakers with questions of how healthy Anthony Davis will be. Davis fell to the floor in pain and limped off of the court. Reports during the game was that he reaggravated a heel contusion.

  • The good news was that he was able to return and finish out the game.
  • The bad news is that Davis was limping noticeably for the rest of the game.
  • What’s even worse, just like LeBron, AD gave the Lakers everything he had with no help. Soft label? Done!

Lake Show Life Lessons points out the little things that impact whether the Los Angeles Lakers win games or not. This game was all about the stars, but the Heat role players gave Jimmy Butler the support to get of this game with a win. LeBron James and Anthony Davis had Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. That’s it.

To put this is perspective, Kendrick Nunn, a player that struggled mightily throughout the postseason after contracting COVID-19 matched the ENTIRE Lakers bench in scoring with 14.

In short, six players producing numbers is a better situation than just three. Simple math.
