Conclusions

On paper, the deal appears like a beneficial one for both teams and something they should look at. The Nets would not lose their borderline star for nothing and receive something that fits their game, while not forced to remain with it if it does not work.

The Lakers could really use someone like him with or without Rondo. In the second case, a good insurance.

Furthermore, Green is from New York, Dinwiddie is from Los Angeles.

Anyway, with all the issues raised by COVID-19 and the new CBA agreements, the Lakers’ roster situation is all but set and, so far, there is no way to understand what to expect.
