Lake Show Life does not want to brag, but we saw this Kyle Kuzma all along!

The great thing about Lake Show Life is proving casuals wrong. Like the ones that come with the ridiculous trade theories every year or he won’t amount to what the Lakers need. It got to the point that we went into a discussion about the casuals’ toxic obsession.

It looks like Kyle Kuzma is starting to make a certain writer look like Nostradamus. It just took patience, coaching, hard work and Jared Dudley being in his ear.

Kyle Kuzma was flat out balling for the Lakers off the bench, scoring 20 points (8-14 shooting!) while grabbing 10 rebounds. Let’s delve into this rebounding deeper. Kuz had a team-leading 5 offensive rebounds. One of them got LeBron out of his seat!

How impressive was Kyle Kuzma? He had more points and rebounds than three of the Lakers starters COMBINED!  It doesn’t take a genius that LeBron James and Anthony Davis were not in that group.

What is getting Kuz to the next level is that he is leaving that “Third Star” label alone. It never mattered in the first place. He is constantly evolving his game so he does not have plays called for him. Instead, he is cutting hard and moving with purpose. Eventually, LeBron will find you.

Yes Lakers fans, this is the Kyle Kuzma that the Los Angeles Lakers signed a three-year $40 million extension for. He is now starting to learn how to play the game of basketball instead of chasing inefficient shots for points.

His plus/minus ratio for the game was a +21. He led the Lakers bench in dominating fashion over Memphis’ 41-17.

Speaking of the Lakers bench, this game could have gotten seriously out of hand (Hard to say that being down 22-2 right?) if Vogel does not go to the bench early to energize the team. Luckily these guys joined Kuzma to do the job.
