LeBron James gave it all he had the Los Angeles Lakers needed to give him some help!

It’s games like these when the media can actually say that LeBron James needed some help and the Lake Show Life staff won’t roll their eyes because of empty narratives and analytic excuses. Bottom line, LeBron James just handed every Phoenix Suns player that dared to guard him business cards.

Since the Utah Jazz blowout game where it was evident that he didn’t try, LeBron destroyed yet another team that shared the NBA court with him for the third straight game. He consistently worked the Suns over throughout the game.

  • In the first half, LeBron scored 11 of his 15 points (7-12 shooting!) in the second quarter with 3 rebounds, 2 assists.
  • Then in the third quarter, LeBron continued his scoring assault scoring 9 more points while assisting on 8 more Lakers points.
  • Usually, LeBron tends to disappear at the end of games. Not in this one, he saved his best scoring output for the final quarter scoring 14 more points.

In all LeBron finished with 38 points (16-24 shooting!), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and a block. He scored in every which way possible.

Lake Show Life has been very critical of LeBron’s lack of intensity on the defensive end at times during the season when things aren’t going well. As of late, he has been very engaged on the defensive end. Just look at what he does to a seven-foot Deandre Ayton here.

The Los Angeles Lakers need this LeBron James to be around every night without Anthony Davis in the lineup. When LeBron defends, the rest of the roster falls in line.

Early Breaking News from Lake Show Life:

LeBron James will be sitting out his first game of the season on Wednesday when the Lakers take on Sacramento. This is a very wise move that probably should have happened a month to six weeks ago. Time off here and 20 minutes or less in the All-Star game will be very ideal for the championship plans in the second half of the season.

The Los Angeles Lakers obviously missed Dennis Schroder during their four-game losing streak. Since he has returned, the Lake Show dominated Portland and Golden State on both ends of the floor for easy victories. Things went a little different in this game, however. Read on to see how Dennis Schroder did.
