Greatest Lakers of all time: 49- Elden Campbell
- 9 seasons, 618 games
- 10.4 points per game
- 5.8 rebounds per game
He was a first-round draft pick for the Lakers in 1990 who had a solid, unspectacular career for the team. Between 1991 and 1999 the 6-11, 215 Campbell was a usual starter, mostly at power forward but sometimes at center.
Elden had a consistent 6-year run when he averaged between 10.1 and 14.9 points and 5.6 and 8.1 rebounds per game. Those teams were good but not quite good enough to win any titles. His Lakers career ended up bridging the gap between the Showtime Era and the Shaq-Kobe-Phil Jackson three-peat years.
