There are going to be a lot of moving parts for the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason. A significant portion of the roster is hitting free agency this offseason and the front office is going to have to decide who stays, who goes, and who is going to replace those that do go.

Rob Pelinka is tasked with making those decisions all while keeping in mind that his goal is to make next year’s Lakers team better than last year’s Lakers team — with little financial flexibility. If you are not getting better in the NBA, you are getting worse.

The Lakers could look to bring in familiar faces that are accustomed to playing with their star players. Yesterday, we covered two former LeBron James teammates that the Lakers could sign in free agency this offseason.

Today, we look at former Anthony Davis teammates that the Los Angeles Lakers could sign.

The list is not long (only two), both of which being players who would help the Lakers in a very specific area. Even better, they know what it takes to play next to some version of Anthony Davi.

Familiarity can absolutely get you a job in the league. Just look at who the Lakers have brought in since LeBron and AD joined forced. They signed two former AD teammates in Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins.

These two players would be a small part of a much bigger offseason picture for the Lakers, but they could be solid additions nonetheless.
