Kyle Kuzma’s future with the Los Angeles Lakers is up in the air this offseason but one thing is for certain: Kuzma is not losing any confidence in himself.

Kuzma made headlines this week with the comments he made in an exclusive interview with Bleacher Report’s Tyler Conway. Most notably, Kuzma expressed his belief that he could be an all-star in the league and average 25 points per game and that all it would take is a more consistent role in Los Angeles.

Kuzma said it is “hard to be consistent with an inconsistent role” and that he was looking forward to a more consistent role in the future. That comment, along with the cryptic Instagram comment he recently made, and it seems inevitable that Kuzma will not be playing for the Lakers next season.

While his future is up in the air, one thing is certain for Kyle Kuzma:

Kyle Kuzma will never be an NBA all-star, even if he gets traded from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kuzma will absolutely disagree with my sentiments and those that are still holding out hope for him will as well. While I love the confidence, Kuzma simply is not all-star material. This does not mean he is a bad player, but he is not someone who will be showcasing his skills at the All-Star Break.

There are three important aspects relating to Kuzma’s game and the league itself that make me fairly confident in claiming that he will never be an all-star in his NBA career.
