The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

Let’s see…the Los Angeles Lakers now have issues stopping superstars now?

After the Lakers watched Luka Doncic drop a 30 point triple-double in three quarters a couple of days ago, Donovan Mitchell carries on the latest bad trend for the Lake Show.

Umm…feel free to defend him at any time!

The Spida Man finished with 29 points and 7 assists. But this is a bigger issue because as you could see in the highlight, the Lakers were undisciplined with numerous defensive breakdowns with no rotations. Every team going forward is going to run pick and roll plays to pull Howard out of the paint. If the defense is not executed correctly, this will happen a lot.

Wenyen Gabriel just fouls too much.

The Los Angeles Lakers will basically have the same cap-strapped team like this one next year with $144 million tied into LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Kendrick Nunn, Anthony Davis and Talen Horton-Tucker. This means they will fill the rest of the roster with cheap salaries (All together now…AGAIN!) and one of those roster spots should go to this guy.

Wenyen Gabriel can play some basketball and can help this team. However, Gabriel is going to have to learn how to defend without fouling. He played 11 minutes and collected five fouls. When he was on the floor he bothered Rudy Gobert with his physical play and scored 7 points (3-4 shooting), with 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers can’t grow in 24 hours!

Rudy Gobert had 25 points (9-11 shooting!), 17 rebounds and 2 blocks doing simple things like this.

This is how bad this small ball thing for the Lakers has gotten. The Utah Jazz guards were awful not noticing the mismatches down low. He should have had 40 points.

But AD is coming back, right?
