The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

The third quarter…

Umm…what had happened was that the Phoenix Suns, who have the best coach in basketball named Monty Williams, who the Los Angeles Lakers interviewed before settling with Frank Vogel, went to the locker room at halftime and made some adjustments. He stressed playing hard and executing.

Unlike the Lakers, the Suns tend to listen to their coach and execute the plays that are sent in. Man, Phoenix just made the Lakers go out and find a switch from the woods like the old days and they put on a whipping like no other.

The Suns just ran over the Lake Show in every possible way you can on a basketball court. Remember the first quarter the Lakers had? Forget it. Devin Booker almost outscored the Lakers by himself.

35-22 ended the game folks.

Speaking of Devin Booker.

Devin Booker will make the Los Angeles Lakers pay for Anthony Davis’ comments about the playoffs last season.

Anthony Davis just had to bring up old stuff talking about last year’s playoffs and how his injury helped the Phoenix Suns turn the series around and win. Devin Booker simply put AD in his place.

Since then, this guy has made a point to literally embarrass this franchise every time he shares the floor with them. He finished with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. He knocked down six shots from the land of the extra point. It looked easy, it looked effortless and it looked pretty. Right now this writer is jealous of Lake Show Life writer, Kevin Germany because he covers the Suns on a Phoenix Suns site and gets to cover a superstar that plays so well in a system as opposed to a superstar dribbling 25 seconds out of a 24-second shot clock.

Until the Lakers get an athletic center, they won’t stop Deandre Ayton and they won’t beat the Suns.

Ayton didn’t miss in the playoffs last year and the beat goes on every time he plays the Lakers. He has a mid-range game that Dwight Howard can’t handle and he’ll dunk on everyone else on the roster because they are too small.

He finished with 22 points (10-14 shooting!), 13 rebounds and 2 assists.

The perimeter defense, especially Avery Bradley and Malik Monk…

It wasn’t there. It’s gone. Why go over it for the millionth time.
