Jamal Crawford announced on Friday that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James would play in the Crawsover Pro-Am event on Saturday in Seattle alongside several other NBA stars.
This is the second pro-am event that LeBron has played this summer as King James also played in Los Angeles’ Drew League. Kyrie Irving was also meant to play the Drew League on that same day, but as he did in Brooklyn last season, he did not play.
LeBron playing in this game is obviously a big deal and the people of Seattle certainly went all out to see King James play. With no basketball in Seattle (as of now), this is the only chance for these young fans to see LeBron play while he is still playing.
This led to a litany of fans camping outside the event Friday night through Saturday morning like it was Black Friday in 2015. Not only did these fans camp out for the event, but they busted out an impromptu game of hoops in order to pass the time.

There are three different LeBron James jerseys in this clip alone and it is pretty hilarious to see these hoopers doing their thing at 3 am in the morning while they wait to get into the Crawsover event. Hopefully, every fan that was willing to camp out overnight can actually get into the event.
Seattle fans are in for a show from Lakers’ LeBron James.
LeBron James obviously is not going to play in this Pro-Am like it is Game 7 of the NBA Finals but he definitely is going to put in some effort and give the fans in attendance a show; especially after seeing how late these fans stayed out to see him play.
When LeBron played in the Drew League he certainly gave the fans in attendance some highlight moments that they will remember forever. He was not giving it his 100% all, but he made sure to sprinkle in some flashy moments.
Obviously, LeBron can do literally whatever he wants on the basketball court to these non-professional players, so it will be fun to see when he picks his spots and decides that he wants to make highlight-reel plays.
3-point specialists that the Lakers can trade for before the season begins
The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly trying to trade for three-point shooting before the season begins. Here are four options for the purple and gold.
For the amateurs playing in this game, it is a fun chance to test themselves against one of the greatest players of all time and maybe even get put on a poster as well. It won’t go in anyone’s bedroom but it certainly will go viral on social media.
